Bye bye beloved binky...

So, I did it.

I gave up the binky.

It was tough too.

Special thanks to Kristy, since she heard constant questions such as: "did your kids take naps after giving up the binky?" "did you really take it away and it was gone forever" "are you sure?"

And special thanks to Erin who put the bug in my ear MONTHS ago about calling it quits at 18months - it took me all 9 months to get the courage to do this!

And yes, danny falls asleep every nap, and every night without the bink.

I'm pretty sure this was tougher on me than him!

words that he says....

My little Danny (18 mo's) can say several words now and it just makes me giggle to hear him talking! He says:

daddy, papa, (papa also refers to daddy too), gandpa, ball, ba's ball, thank you, shoes, wha's this, mo', maggie, and aggie. I'm positive he has said more words, but those are the most common. Notice that NOT ONCE has he said, MOMMY! I'm sure it'll happen, but gosh, MAGGIE before Mommy?
