And yesterday I did a first - CANNING! Shayne thought I should put on a pioneer dress for the occassion (cause I actually have one!). I hope they taste as yummy as they look - and a big THANKS to Rach for making this happen. I wouldn't have done it without her.

Oh look.. I 'found' your blog too. hehe Those strawberries look yummy! I have learned how to can this year as well. My mom an I just did 48 quarts of peaches. This weekend... applesauce. Have fun!
Great job canning, Lea!!!! Isn't it amazingly fulfilling (and messy, haha). Beautiful strawberries! I tried growing those in Michigan, but it wasn't meant to be. :(
